KALI MANTRA INITIATION IN MALAYSIA

In June 1987 the epicenter of activities shifted to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with Mantra initiation during Anthar Kriya Yogam at Ipoh.

The industrial magnates of South India are the famous Nattukottai Chettiar community of Tamil Nadu. In a great spirit of adventure which they exhibit even today in many countries. They sailed in huge boats with sails using the monsoon winds to trade in many countries around the Indian Ocean and across the "Seven Seas". One of them is Malay Nadu (Country of Hills, the modern Malaysia). One seaber of this community from Karaikudi was selling textiles five generations back as the usual practice is to trade in basics like salt, clothes etc.

In the tropical jungle of Malaya there were natives of who the immigrants were naturally afraid of. This Karaikudi businessean, the first Sathappa Chettiar of the S.N.S.S. family, was stranded with his assistant. At that juncture a strange person came out of the jungle and the assistant shuddered thinking his days were numbered at the hands of the native. Sathappa Chettiar fell at the feet of this person full of courage and devotion. The Jungle man beckoned Sathappa Chettiar to open his mouth and wrote mystic letters on his tongue!

From that time onwards this maternal great, great, grandfather of Yogiar (Yogi S.A.A.Ramaiah) used to get into a trance state with Kali consciousness.

This story was narrated by Yogiar's mother when he was bed-ridden with bone TB for six years. The simple question was raised by him, "How can a native of Malaya be aware of the Kali Bija Mantra?" The simple reply was, "I do not know. Later Satguru Babaji threw light on the subject that He initiated the Karaikudi Chettiar!
